We all wish we had more in our lives. Enough to make ends meet and have a little left over for a rainy day. Yet, abundance extends to more than simply our material needs. It could be better physical and mental health, more self-love/self-acceptance, or healthier relationships. In the realms of the Ascended Masters are a plethora of beings that are more than willing to help out. Yet, in this post, I want to pinpoint one who longs to help you by pouring out her abundance into your life: Abundantia. The name says it all!
Abundantia is associated with prosperity, abundance, and the flow of blessings. In this post I want to take you through the origination of this amazing goddess and how she can help you improve your lot in life. You will also be shown how to invoke her (trust me, it isn’t scary) so that you can share with her your concerns about the lack in your life. Abundantia is always willing to step in and give you her help and guidance.
Where did Abundantia come from?
We find Abundantia primarily in Greek mythology in which she is portrayed as a beautiful, maternal figure. This can be seen as a reflection of the nurturing care of a mother who wants nothing but the best for her children. Though many gods and goddesses within the Greek pantheon can trace their family lineage, Abundantia appears to be an odd one out. Some theorise she may be a daughter of Jupiter, while other scholars suggest she may be associated with the fertility gods Ceres or Tellus. Mythlok.com states:
“Abundantia, while being her most recognized name, was also known by other titles that highlighted her role and attributes. One notable name is Copia, a Latin term meaning ‘abundance’ or ‘plenty,’ emphasizing her function as the provider of material wealth and prosperity. Some scholars suggest that Copia may represent another aspect of Abundantia or a closely related deity, though the distinction between the two is not always clear. In some later traditions, she was referred to as Domina Abundia or Dame Habonde, signifying her continued veneration throughout the medieval period. Additionally, she was sometimes associated with Annona, a goddess linked to the grain supply, further illustrating her importance in ensuring the sustenance and economic well-being of the Roman people. These various names and titles reflect different facets of her authority over abundance and prosperity, underscoring her significance in Roman culture.”
As an Ascended Master, she has taken it upon herself to guide individuals in all aspects of prosperity and abundance, especially in the area of personal investments and financial assets.

Those who love manifestation may consider calling upon Abundantia for some guidance to attract prosperity into your life. Also, Abundantia will tell you that the universe responds to your vibrational frequencies, granting you what you send out through your thoughts, emotions and actions.
She emphasises the importance of cultivating a mindset of abundance rather than scarcity. That is, focus on what you have and not on what you lack. Count your blessings but be open to receiving more. Then watch Abundantia and the universe do their thing in bringing abundance into your life!

I already mentioned that Abundantia is typically seen as a maternal figure. Most images show her carrying a cornucopia filled with grain and coins. She is ready and willing to tip out these into your life. The cornucopia represents the unlimited abundance that is available to everyone. You may also see Abundantia associated with a gold colour. This symbolises wealth and prosperity. Heck, who doesn’t love the yellow hue of gold!
While invoking Abundantia, meditating on any of these symbols can help strengthen your connection with her.
How to invoke Abundantia
Those who show devotion to Abundantia do so either through meditation, visualisation, or prayer to establish a deep connection to her energy. During meditation, some people choose to invoke her presence and seek her guidance in all matters regarding abundance and prosperity. Some devotees like to light candles or place fresh flowers in their sacred space as offerings in reverence to this Ascended Master. Go with whatever you feel intuitively led to do.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can call upon Abundantia.
1. Prepare your space
Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed during your time with Abundantia. Cleanse the area energetically using sage, palo santo, or burn incense (lavender, rose, or sandalwood). As I just mentioned, you can decorate your space with lit candles or flowers to help you establish a bond with Abundantia. Also, consider placing a symbol of prosperity such as a coin or gold cornucopia in your space. If you love crystals, you can use citrine or pyrite to grace the area. You might want to also use an image of Abundantia, but that’s optional.
2. Set your intention
Take a few deep breaths to centre yourself and open up to spirit. Clearly state your intention. For example, “I call upon Abundantia to guide me in aligning to the flow of abundance and prosperity.” Be specific about the type of abundance you want such as financial, health, opportunities, self-awareness, etc.
3. Invoke Abundantia
Now with your intention set and you being open to the spirit realm, it’s time to invoke Abundantia. Don’t overthink this part of the process or consider that you need to do some fantastic ritual. Invocation is as simple as calling out to a friend. After all, that is what the Ascended Masters are: beings of the highest love and light who possess great wisdom and long to help us and humanity grow and evolve. To call upon Abundantia use this invocation or create one of your own:
“Beloved Ascended Master Abundantia, radiant being of divine abundance, I humbly call upon your presence. Surround me with your light and guide me to receive the infinite blessings of the universe. May my heart remain open to the prosperity that flows through all areas of my life. I welcome your wisdom, grace, and love. And so it is.”

If you haven’t done so already, close your eyes and picture Abundantia. You may even get an image of her in your mind’s eye like I do. Visualise golden light surrounding you filling your mind, heart, body and spirit with abundance and prosperity. Express heartfelt gratitude for the things you already have in your life and for the blessings yet to come. Give a little prayer of thanks such as:
“Thank you, Abundantia, for your presence and the gifts you bestow upon me. I trust in the infinite abundance of the universe.”
5. Release your request
You have expressed what you want to manifest in your life. Now, let it go and trust that Abundantia in her awesome power, along with the universe, is acting on your request. Don’t obsess about the results or try to figure out how it’s going to come to pass. Trust that the wheels are in motion and that you are aligned with the flow of the universe.
6. Take aligned action
Once you have finished with your session, thank Abundantia and the universe for their help. The next step is to watch out for signs, opportunities and inspiration that align with your intentions. Calling on Abundantia works in harmony with your actions. After all, we are all co-creators with the universe and our spiritual team.
